I am a Christian and a father from BC, Canada. My degree is in Computer Science. I also took 18 credits of 2nd-3rd year psychology for a minor.
I have worked in gaming research for children with the Phoenix Quest team at E-GEMS @ UBC, telecom key system and picocellular app development at BNR and Nortel, sawmill log scanning and optimization at Porter Engineering, BACnet at Reliable Controls, portrait photography, and currently work in website development, digital marketing/SEO, and Azure/.Net server applications.
I have enjoyed creating a new website for Stefan, and helping improve his Google Ads account and his Facebook presence, as well as improving his ranking in organic search specific to his industry and locality. Sometimes it's the "little things" like adding SSL security!
The friendships I have with my clients make it easy to share ideas and information. Stefan is easy to talk to on the phone, so sometimes we just update each other with a brief chat.
I'm fixing Stefan's laptops at the moment.
I started helping Big Bear Tools in 2011. Since then, Dave and I have worked through everything from new eCommerce systems to e-mail newsletters to Facebook catalogs for Instagram products!
Twice now, errors that our web-host server is experiencing have forced us to shut down the website. It's important for Dave that during times like that, he knows I'm there to re-direct customers to a shopping portal. He also sometimes needs me to uninstall malware on his big Mac. ????
Ted sells assistive products for the hard of hearing and speech impaired. His retail shop is running 24x7 online. I've enjoyed creating new websites with Dealer login areas, and helping Ted with various things like SEO or eCommerce payment methods.
It was difficult to beat the "other" ALDS (American League Division Series) on the Google Search Results Page, but we did it! (for our Canadian customers anyways!)
Sometimes I get to learn about my client's products or services when I'm creating content, whether it be an e-newsletter or an SEO description. Check out BeHear® NOW—I think it's the best hearing aid alternative possible!
